Jordan Michael Smith is the author of the bestselling Kindle Single, Humanity: How Jimmy Carter Lost an Election and Transformed the the Post-Presidency, and a consultant at BerlinRosen, a political communications firm. Formerly a Contributing Writer for Salon and the Christian Science Monitor, his writing has appeared in print and online for many national publications, including the New York Times Magazine, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, BBC.com and MSNBC.com. He has been awarded journalism fellowships from Stanford University, Wesleyan University, and The City University of New York; a grant from The Nation Institute's Investigative Fund; and appeared on many radio and television programs in Canada, the United States, Russia and Iraq.
